Post Shift Reports

Post-Shift Reports feature lets you document missed notes—even after you’ve clocked out—as long as your agency has this feature enabled.

🔒 Admins must enable this feature in Account Preferences before it becomes available.


Step 1: access past shifts

  1. Open the Giv app

  2. Go to the Shifts tab

  3. Tap the Past tab to view previous shifts


Step 2: select a shift to edit

  1. Tap on the shift you want to update

    Example: A shift from Saturday, February 18th

  2. You'll now see shift details and editable documentation areas


Step 3: add or edit documentation

You can now log anything that was missed:

Goals

  • Tap Goals

  • Tap Completed

  • Add any missed goal logs with:

    • Goal worked on

    • Date/time

    • Notes about progress or support

Medications

  • Tap Medications

  • View the log history or add new entries for missed administrations or refusals

Incident reports

  • Tap Incident Reports

  • Report incidents tied to that specific shift

  • Include all required details before submitting

Forms

  • If custom forms were assigned to the client, you can also complete or update them here


Step 4: finish and return

  • Once your updates are submitted, you’re done!

  • There’s no need to re-clock out—your edits are automatically tied to the shift
