How to Join Your Team's Slack Channel

Slack helps keep communication simple and efficient throughout your

Giv experience. Use it to connect directly with your Giv team, receive

important updates, ask questions, and get the support you need along

the way.

Below are instructions for getting signed into slack from the desktop.

1. After a Giv team member has sent you an invite. Check your email

to find the invitation to your companies new slack channel.

2. Enter the same email into slack that you received from the invite.

3. An email gets sent to you with a code to verify your account.

4. Select "Start with the Limited Free Version" there wont be a need

to upgrade to a "Pro" account.

5. You are now in your designated slack channel! Feel free to send

a message, ask a question, or say "Hi" to the team.

Below are the instructions for joining a slack channel through mobile.

This might look slightly different for other users depending on phone.

2. Click "Download Slack" to get routed to the download page.

3. You will be redirected to your app store to download slack.

4. At the bottom, there is small text saying "Invited to slack?",

select "Accept invitation".

5. You will receive another email to confirm the invite.

Go back to your email and select the new link.

6. Click "Accept Invite" to get into your designated slack channel.
