Overview: Settings

Overview of the settings section in the mobile app.

The Settings section of the app allows you to view your profile information, manage security settings, access agency resources, and report issues.


Accessing the settings

  1. Login to the app

  2. Tap Settings at the bottom of the screen


Profile

In the Profile section, you can view:

  • Your caregiver profile details as set up in the Giv dashboard

  • Your Caregiver ID, which can be copied and shared with your admin team if you are experiencing an issue or reporting a bug.


My Team

View all clients that have been assigned to you by your admin team in your caregiver profile.


Notification

View all notifications sent from your admin team. This may include important updates or announcements. Click the X next to the notification to permanently delete the notification.


Security

In the Security section, you can manage your login preferences:

  • Reset Password: Select this option to reset your password. A confirmation code will be sent to the phone number you use to log in. Once verified, you can create and confirm a new password.

  • Biometric Login: Enable or disable logging in using biometrics (such as fingerprint or face recognition), if supported by your device.

Get Help

The Get Help section allows you to report issues and bugs directly to Giv Support. Use this feature to report problems, such as difficulty clocking in or out, switching services, or other app issues. Enter a description of the issue and tap Submit.

When submitted, the ticket gets automatically sent to the Giv support team, allowing them to investigate and resolve bugs more efficiently.


Privacy Policy

View any privacy policies provided by your agency.


Terms & Conditions

View any terms and conditions your agency has made available.


Log out

Tap Log out to log out of the Giv app.
