Overview

We’ve introduced real-time conflict detection when creating shifts. This feature helps schedulers and admins catch potential issues before a shift is finalized — reducing errors, preventing billing rejections, and improving compliance.

  • Agency Admins & Managers (with scheduling permissions)

  • Schedulers who create and manage shifts

New Features and Enhancements

Real-Time Conflict Warnings

  • Instantly see alerts if:

    • A staff member or a client is already scheduled for another shift during time the user is trying to schedule for.

Conflict Indicators in Shift Creation

  • Visual inline warnings next to staff/client fields.

  • A Conflict Summary modal shows all conflicts grouped by person and type, with details in both a timeline and card view.

  • Conflict Resolution Options

    • Acknowledge: Acknowledge the conflict and continue.

      • Clear warnings are shown if you try to save a shift with unresolved conflicts.
