Goal Attempts

Track and document goal attempts with accuracy. Whether a client completes a task or refuses, staff can now log each attempt and reason, ensuring every effort is captured for clear, outcome-based reporting.

Overview

We are excited to release the ability to track goal attempts in our software. There are many time agencies and staff need to track activity toward a goal that was worked on but not necessarily completed.

An example being the client has a goal to brush their teeth twice a day and the client refused. Goal attempts now allow staff to log activity towards goals and document the attempt and why they weren’t able to complete the goal. All attempts will be tracked towards goal activity for proper reporting on outcomes.

Impacted Users

  • Direct Support Professionals

  • Admins viewing client progress reporting.

New Features and Feature Enhancements

  • When documenting goal activity for a client, a staff member can now toggle on an attempt to indicate activity but that they weren’t able to accomplish the goal. By toggling on an attempt, it will remove custom fields tied to the goal’s outcome reporting and ask for a time attempted and details about the attempt.

  • The reporting for these goal attempts will show to the staff member for shift records and to the administrators for goal reporting on outcomes.
