Record all client notes during your shift.
By default, you must be clocked in and running a service to record any notes for a client. However, admins can enable a setting in the Dashboard that allows you to log notes after your shift has ended.
Step 1: Navigating to Shift Notes
To view notes during an active shift:
Login to the app
Tap View shift at the top of the Home screen
Select the client under the Clients section
Tap the Notes tile near the top of the screen

The shift notes displayed are assigned by your admin team for that client. If no notes appear, the client does not have any assigned in their profile—please contact your admin team for assistance.
Step 2: Completing Shift Notes
To add shift notes:
After selecting the Notes tile, complete all shift notes by answering each question thoroughly
Tap Save
Notes are stored at the shift level and tied to the client. Staff may use the microphone feature on their phone to dictate shift notes instead of typing, if preferred.
Required Notes
Some shift notes will be required and must be completed before clocking out. If you try to clock out without finishing them, an error will appear at the bottom of the screen. Go back and complete the required shift notes, and then you can clock out.
Adding Notes After a Completed Shift
If enabled by your admin team, you can also go back in later and add shift notes after the shift is completed.
To access completed shifts:
Login to the app
Scroll down to the Shifts section on the Home screen
Select the Past tab
Tap the past shift you want to add notes
Select the client under the Clients section
Tap the Notes tile
Fill out the notes
Tap Save
