A goal type is a customizable questionnaire or form template that determines which questions a DSP must answer each time they log goal activity or progress.
You can create different goal types for specific categories of goals to ensure the correct information is collected for each one. For example, separate goal types can be created for hygiene and socialization goals to capture different required details.
Goal types help ensure documentation aligns with agency requirements, compliance standards, and internal workflows.
For more information on adding goals to a client's plan and track activity, see Managing Goals in the Client Profile.
