Overview
We’re excited to announce the launch of Groups, a powerful new way to organize and manage your staff and clients. This release is designed to make scheduling faster, simpler, and more accurate, especially for high-volume care environments like day programs and group homes.
What’s New
Create and Manage Groups
Admins can now create named groups made up of any combination of staff and/or clients. Groups can be edited, renamed, or deleted at any time.Simplified Shift Scheduling
When creating a new shift, you can now select a saved group from the People dropdown. All members of that group will be automatically added to the shift, reducing manual entry and errors.Calendar Filtering by Group
Filter your calendar view by group to quickly see shifts that involve specific teams or client cohorts. You can also preview group members before applying the filter.
How to Create a Group
Navigate to the “Feature Settings” and click on the “Groups” card
From here, click on “+Create group” in the top right corner
from this page you can name the Group, add people to the Group, and delete the Group
After you click “Add people” the modal below will appear:
From here you can add any Staff and or Client you want to this Group
Clicking “Add to Group” will add the selected Staff and or Client(s) and they will automatically be saved to the group when you navigate away from this page

Filtering and Scheduling by Groups
Navigate to the “Calendar” and you’ll see on the righthand side of the page a new “Filter by” section. From here you can filter by individuals (Clients or Staff), and now by Groups
When scheduling, you can also assign an entire group. To do this, create a shift, then add people to it by either scrolling to find the group name or typing the group name into the search bar.
Once you’ve selected the group you want to schedule for, the people in the group will populate in the flow and be ready for assignment

Notes & Next Steps
Groups are managed under a new “Groups” page in Settings.
This is the first release (v1); future versions will add more granular permissions and support location-based groups.
