Submitting Time Change and Past Shift Requests

How to submit time correction and past shift requests in the mobile app.

If you forget to clock in or out, you can submit a time change request through the mobile app. If you worked a previous shift without clocking in or out, you can submit a past shift request and include all necessary documentation.

Your admin team will review each request and either approve or reject it.


Time Change (Shift Edit) Requests

Submit a time change (also known as a shift edit) request if you forget to clock in or out, encounter technical issues, or continue working after clocking out.

Step 1: Find the Shift

There are 2 ways to find your past shift in the app.

Option 1: Through the Home screen

  1. Login to the app

  2. Scroll down to the Shifts section

  3. Select the Past tab

  4. Tap the past shift you want to request the time change

Option 2: Through the Shifts screen

  1. Login to the app

  2. Tap Shifts at the bottom

  3. Navigate to the past shift you want to request the time change

  4. Tap on the shift

Step 2: Submit the Request

  1. Tap View time log located underneath the Clocked in at time

  2. Tap Request time change

  3. Tap the pencil icon next to the time you want to change

  4. Enter the New time and Reason for change

  5. Tap Save

  6. Tap Submit and then Confirm

View Pending and Reviewed Requests

There are 2 ways to view pending and reviewed time request changes.

Option 1: View time log

  1. Find and select the past shift you submitted the time change for

  2. Tap View time log located underneath the Clocked in at time

  3. Tap View time requests at the bottom of the screen

  4. Select the pending, approved, or rejected request to see additional details

Option 2: More options menu (three dots)

  1. Find and select the past shift you submitted the time change for

  2. Tap the More options menu (three dots) in the top-right corner

  3. Select View time change requests

  4. Tap the pending, approved, or rejected request to see additional details

For pending requests, on the Shift Details screen you can also view additional details by tapping the banner at the top that says: You have 1 pending time change request.


Past Shift Requests

You can submit a past shift request, including all shift documentation, if you worked a shift but were unable to clock in and out.

Submitting a Past Shift Request

To submit a past shift request:

  1. Tap the Shifts icon at the bottom of the screen

  2. Tap the + sign in the top right corner

  3. Select Past shift (NEW)

  4. Enter the required information

    • Start date and time

    • End date and time

    • Address (optional)

    • Reason for creation

  5. Select the client(s)

  6. Tap Continue

  7. Tap the clock icon

  8. Select Manage Services

  9. Tap the + sign next to the client and choose the service

  10. Tap Confirm changes

  11. Select the client(s) and fill out all documentation (notes, goals, meds, forms, incidents)

  12. Tap Back to go back to the request

  13. Tap Submit

Saving, Accessing, and Discarding Requests

To save a draft: tap Save to draft at the bottom of the screen.

To access existing drafts:

  1. Tap the Shifts icon at the bottom of the screen

  2. Tap the More options menu (three dots) in the top right corner

  3. Select Requests

  4. Find and tap on the draft to continue filling it out

To discard a draft: tap Discard in the top-right corner.


Rejected Requests

If the admin rejects your time change request, you will receive a notification through the mobile app. Reach out to your admin team for more information or resubmit the request.
