Shift clock-in window

  • What it does: Controls how early a DSP or caregiver can clock in before a scheduled shift.

  • Example: If the setting is 30 minutes and a shift starts at 10:00 AM, the earliest clock-in is 9:30 AM.

  • Why it matters: Helps enforce time tracking consistency.

Incident email notifications

  • Use this to: Add email addresses for team members who should be notified of incident reports.

  • Where it shows up: Incidents are visible in the Reports tab, but this sends email alerts too.

Transportation tracking

  • Feature must be enabled to use.

  • Allows caregivers to log transportation activities (mileage, trip count, or distance).

  • Note: Requires transportation forms to be set up during onboarding.

Impromptu shifts

  • Enable this feature to allow unscheduled shifts.

  • Must be turned on per caregiver.

  • How it works: DSPs can start and complete a shift on the fly—no prior schedule required.

Geofencing for clock-ins

  • Purpose: Prevents caregivers from clocking in unless they are within a set distance of the service location.

  • Customizable radius: For example, set to 16 miles. If the DSP is 25 miles away, clock-in is blocked.

  • Helps ensure accurate time/location tracking.

Post-shift report access

  • Enable this to allow caregivers to edit shift-level data after clocking out.

  • Includes:

    • Notes

    • Goals

    • Medications

    • Forms

    • Transportation entries

  • When it applies: After a shift is completed and something needs to be added or corrected.

Caregiver goal rating

  • Optional: Allows caregivers to rate shift experience on a scale from 0 to 10.

  • Agency Usage: Mixed adoption—great for feedback but not required.
